Reflection for the Day:

First Listen, Then Obey

Thought for the Day:

Obedience Results In Victory

John 9:11. He answered and said, a man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.

Certainly one might question why they should be told to wash one's blind eyes in a pool. As unusual as the directions were, a man that had been blind from his birth was told that by Jesus. The man listened, he obeyed, and he received his sight. His obedience resulted in victory.Time spent with Jesus is spent listening. A good listener hears first-hand the directions for his life. Of course once one hears obedience must follow. Spend consistent time in fellowship with the Lord. He will speak and as you obey, you will find yourself entering periods of great victory. Remember: first listen, then obey.
